I have always been creative at heart, but the day I discovered my love of light I found my true calling as a photographer. As I organically built a business out of my passion, I challenged myself to grow stronger and more skilled in my craft. By far the best risk I took was incorporating analog film photography! Film gives a certain aesthetic that I find absolutely breathtaking. With a somewhat whimsical feel of the great Impressionist artists, film captures light and the way it affects the subjects in the most magically beautiful way. While diving into various types of photography, I found that I was my most creative when working with couples in love. Weddings, engagement sessions and bridal sessions bring me so much joy and fulfillment, and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to use my talents to gift my clients with timeless, endearing, and authentic photos they will treasure their entire lives.

Recently, I bought a top from Target (where pretty much everything I own comes from) that says “Blessed Mama”. And that’s just what I am! I have two amazing boys, ages 8 and 3, who constantly keep me on my toes while bringing me the most intense joy and love I’ve ever experienced. They are my ultimate sources of motivation and the reasons I push for success and betterment of myself in every aspect of my life. Our sweet pets count as family too! We have a 13 year old Lab/Basset Hound mix and two brother-sister Australian Cattle Dog puppies. It quickly became apparent while fostering the puppies that they had found their forever home with us. Yes, indeed, I am a very blessed mama!!

MY FAMILY

-80’s song: Whitney Houston “I Wanna Dance with Somebody”…I will always sing along!
-Hobby: baking in my kitchen…current obsession is the French macaron!
-Way to spend a sunny day off: a picnic with a good charcuterie board and bottle of wine on the lawn at the Dallas Arboretum
-Location to travel: Paris, France. The architecture, the art, the history, the fashion, the food, and the romance of the city lights at night steal my heart!
-Dallas Must Do: The State Fair of Texas. My birthday falls during fair time and a trip to Fair Park indulging in all my favorite fried foods is always my birthday gift to myself
-Flower: Tree Peony, especially when they are as big as my face!
-Color Palette: Slate Gray, Deep Emerald, Sangria, Taupe Gray, Light Blush Pink (inspired by a peony and my favorite color, emerald green!)
-Wedding Day Moment: The first look! Whether it’s a private moment prior to the ceremony or as the bride walks down the aisle, there is just something so magical about the first time the groom sees his soon-to-be wife in her wedding gown!
